OUR PROCESS

From Your RFQ to a Clear Sourcing Proposal.

From your first email to an agreed order, each stage has a distinct purpose. An RFQ starts a commercial discussion; it does not commit you to a purchase.

CLARITY AT EACH STAGE

A practical route through procurement.

You can send an existing parts list, spreadsheet or PDF by email. Include any acceptable alternate conditions and identify urgent or planned requirements.

The six stages below distinguish the enquiry, sourcing proposal, supplier confirmation, accepted order and agreed supply arrangements.

THE SOURCING SEQUENCE

Six steps. One clear requirement.

  1. 01

    Share the part details

Email the part number, description, quantity and requested condition. Add aircraft type, documentation needs and delivery timing where known; an existing RFQ or spreadsheet is welcome.

  2. 02

    Define the requirement

We clarify configuration, acceptable conditions and the records that influence your purchasing decision before progressing the sourcing enquiry.

  3. 03

    Consider supply options

Potential sources and supply options are considered against the defined requirement. Supplier-stated availability, condition and records inform the proposal.

  4. 04

    Review the quotation

The quotation communicates the proposed goods, condition, documentation, price, commercial terms and estimated lead time, subject to supplier confirmation.

  5. 05

    Confirm the order

Review the quotation and agree the scope, terms and any changes before placing an order. An enquiry is not an order; orders become binding only upon written confirmation by UISSW.

  6. 06

    Coordinate supply

Following order confirmation, the agreed documentation, dispatch and delivery arrangements are coordinated in line with the commercial documents and applicable trade requirements.

Planning around a delivery date? Include it in your enquiry. Lead times and delivery dates are estimates, subject to the agreed quotation and supplier confirmation.
