2. Information and purposes
We receive business contact details and information you or your organisation provide in enquiries and correspondence. This may include names, roles, business email addresses, telephone numbers, company details, parts requirements and relevant attachments. Transaction records may include quotations, orders, invoices, delivery and traceability documents, signatures and relevant business-verification results.
We use relevant information to answer enquiries, assess sourcing requirements, manage business relationships and transactions, meet applicable legal duties, protect information and handle requests or disputes. We use consent where required, or another ground permitted by applicable law, including necessary contract-related steps and legal obligations. Correspondence with a company representative does not necessarily involve a contract with that individual. Where applicable law permits legitimate-interest processing, relevant interests include responding to business enquiries and protecting our services, subject to the individual’s rights.
This website provides corporate information and email links. It does not accept online RFQ, customer KYC or supplier KYS submissions or document uploads, and it sends no automatic application acknowledgements. Contact us by email to discuss appropriate arrangements. Do not include passwords, banking details, personal identity documents, controlled technical information or unnecessary confidential customer records in an initial enquiry.
Cloudflare provides website delivery and security. Requests can involve IP addresses, requested resources, request times and browser or device information used to deliver the site, prevent abuse and investigate technical issues.
With your explicit consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand visits, sessions and engagement on ordinary public corporate pages. Standard automatically collected events include page_view, first_visit, session_start and user_engagement. Google processes pseudonymous cookie and session identifiers, approved page paths and titles, and technical browser, device and connection information. We do not send names, email addresses, enquiry or form contents, confidential procurement information, URL query strings or fragments, or referral URLs. Pages with query strings or fragments, legal and commercial-document pages, RFQ, KYC/KYS, internal administration and staging are excluded from measurement. Advertising, remarketing, advertising personalisation, Google Signals and Enhanced Measurement are disabled. No Google Analytics tag or measurement request is loaded before analytics consent. 3. Recipients, international processing and security
Business email uses Google Workspace. Relevant information is handled by UISSW and service providers supporting website delivery, email and business administration. Where necessary and appropriate, we may share relevant information with transaction counterparties, credential issuers, professional advisers or competent authorities. We limit disclosures to the purpose; an enquiry does not authorise unnecessary circulation of personal information or confidential attachments.
International communications and technology services may involve processing or access outside the UAE or your country. We do not promise UAE-only storage. We use arrangements and safeguards required by applicable law for the relevant processing. Contact legal@uissw.com for information about relevant recipients and safeguards.
We use HTTPS for this website and restrict business access and sharing according to need. Email links open your own email service; email and websites cannot provide absolute security. Agree a suitable channel with us before providing particularly sensitive or confidential material.
4. Retention
We keep information for its purpose and applicable legal, contractual or record-keeping requirements, including any justified dispute or investigation hold. Required commercial correspondence, accounting, transaction and traceability records may need to be retained longer than ordinary enquiries.
Where no legal requirement or justified hold calls for longer retention, ordinary enquiry information is normally reviewed for deletion within 24 months after closure. Information that remains necessary for an active business relationship is reviewed when that need ends. These review periods do not authorise deletion of records that must be kept. Email, recovery copies and exports can have different deletion arrangements; we do not promise immediate deletion from every provider system.
Google Analytics user and event data retention is set to two months, without resetting the period on new activity. This setting does not control most aggregated reports, which may be retained longer. Cookie lifetimes and the separate 180-day consent preference are explained in our Cookie Policy.
5. Your rights and contacting us
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to information or access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a competent authority. Legal limits can apply, including required records and the rights of others. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Send requests or privacy/security concerns to legal@uissw.com, with enough context to locate the relevant information. We may check identity or authority proportionately; do not send a passport or other identity document unless an appropriate arrangement has been agreed. We will explain the outcome and any applicable exception. Please initially report security concerns without passwords or additional sensitive records.
We may update this policy as our services change. The version and effective date appear above. New processing activities will be explained before they begin, and consent will be requested where required.
